Back in Florida!

Well, we’re back in Florida for real now. We’re camping at Ochlocknee State Park outside of Sopchoppy. (I swear those are real names.) I say for real because we technically returned to Florida yesterday.

We were in Opp, Alabama, (also a real name) and saw that Florida’s highest natural point was only about 25 minutes or so from our campsite, so we went to check it out. We’ve been to several highpoints, but this one was different. Easy to get to since we didn’t even have to walk up a hill, it’s also special because it’s the lowest highpoint in the United States by quite a bit.

I’m not sure how it feels to be back in Florida yet (other than hot and humid). This part of Florida isn’t much like where we live, so maybe it’ll feel more real when we get into Central Florida.
