They moved a covered bridge from a nearby community here. Behind it is the backstop for the archery/ muzzleloader range. The morning sun shines on the other side of the bridge. There are several small waterfalls in the Furnace Creek, which runs through the middle of the park. The remnants of the 19th century iron foundry furnace is the centerpiece of the park. What's left of the furnace is at least 25 feet tall. No one was using it while we were there, but this looks like a nice place to have a fire and enjoy the evening outdoors. A stage overlooks a large grassy area and is situated next to the furnace ruins.
