New Coach, New View

A look out our new front window

As Josh has posted: We have a New Ride! We’re still finding all the things we like with this rig, but one thing we know we like is the big front views.

When booking campsites with the trailer, I would look at campsite pictures for a site with a nice rear view, preferably looking out at a lake. The new rig doesn’t have rear windows (damn rear engine), but the front sees it all. We’re at an RV park in Maryland to be with Mom for a week and our view at this site is onto a large open field; we saw two small deer in the field yesterday (thanks to Barnie alerting us).

Barnie looks out our old rear window over the Little Florida Mountains in Rockhound State Park in New Mexico, spring 2023.

We also like seeing the other campers that are coming in or leaving the campground. We had a nice large window on the side of the trailer that you could see a rig coming/going, but then you had to quickly get to another window to see it go by. With this coach’s big picture window we see it all from one convinent seat. You would think that sitting in the captain’s chairs for 4-5 hours driving between campsites would be enough, but they are really comfortable. My passenger chair has a leg rest that comes up just like a Lazy Boy — Josh can’t get THAT comfortable driving (Bummer).

If you’re in the area looking for us in the campground just look for the Rays flag! We missed going to a game at the Trop this year but we’re still following the Good Guys — notice who is on the outside tv in the photo at our South of the Border camp. Go Rays!!
